A gushing spring to feed the ponds
- This cave is to be found 600 meters downstream from the gardens, at the end of the beech lane closing the major axis, in the heart of the former romantic garden.
- It is located at ten meters above the level of the river, under La Rochette (the small rock).
- The ground water comes out from the notch on the right top of the photograph.
- It leaves via an underground channel of more than one km length towards the gardens, where it feeds the ponds. The departure of the channel is seen on the left of the photograph.
- On the right bottom of the photograph, one sees the bypassing channel, through which the water overflows at time of strong rains.
