Gokart races with mowers
- Until 1950, grass "was mowed" with scythes. After this date, gasoline mowers with used (so well models with drum as those with plate). Then in 1985, self-propelled models appeared.
- The machines remained small to be able to pass through the paths in the hedges.
- The global warming has required to start mowing one month earlier (at the beginning of Mars) and to stop one month later (at the beginning of November).
- The frequency is 2 times per month, but in May and June it goes up to 3 times per month. It is not advised to lower this frequency, because one must then cut so much grass that it ends up taking more time and consuming more fuel.
- The interiors of the hedges are mown once per year. A way of recalling to the nettles that they do not benefit over a monopoly.
