Castle and Gardens of Freÿr / Meuse (Belgium)
Ashtrees and wild flowers have replaced the vegetables
-
There were two vegetable gardens: a large one upstream above the closed garden
and a small one downstream in front of the greenhouse.
-
In this small vegetable garden, one discovers a greenhouse of the 19th,
which will be soon accessible to the visitors.
-
In the large kitchen garden of the 18th, blocks were planted
with vegetables, low-stems along these blocks and fruit trees at their corners.
A vegetable garden has become an ash plantation
